Over 30 years ago, nobody knew of Sesuit Harbor Cafe before it went viral and took off. Since I was born, my family has taken me to Cape Cod, where I go every summer to this day. I like to call Cape Cod, “My Happy Place”. It has such a sentimental place in my heart. I loved every moment of every summer growing up in Dennis.
Sesuit Harbor Cafe is a classic Cape Cod clam shack offering outdoor dining overlooking Northside Marina and Cape Cod Bay. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to enjoy the raw beauty of Cape Cod. You won’t be disappointed with their lobster roll! Their latest delight are the Sesuit Buns, created by one of their new bakers, Finn! These tasty treats are flying off the shelves so don’t miss out! Don’t forget to grab a t-shirt and sweatshirt on the way out.
Also located in Sesuit Harbor, is the famous lobster boat cruises! Whether it’s Brunch, Lunch, Sunset Dinner or just a Cocktail Cruise, the S.S. Lobster Roll is the perfect setting for your special event!
Sesuit Harbor is located on the north shore of Cape Cod about seven miles east of Barnstable Harbor in the town of East Denis. The harbor is very easy to enter, and the channel to the protected harbor is relatively short. Expect six-foot depths all the way to the end of the harbor.
East Dennis is located in Barnstable County, which consists of the 15 coastal towns located on the peninsula known as Cape Cod. Bordered on the north by Cape Cod Bay, to the east by the Atlantic Ocean and to the south by Nantucket Sound, it is the easternmost point of land in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. With over 550 miles of shoreline and more than 360 lakes and ponds, the maritime heritage of the region is deeply rooted. Approximately 396 square miles of land are home to over 205,000 year round residents, swelling to more than three times that number during the peak summer months.
Sesuit Harbor has excellent facilities (marinas and a yacht club), so this is an excellent point to base your exploration of the surrounding Cape Cod area out of. If you need repairs, there is a full-service repair yard with a lift in the harbor. There are unfortunately no moorings or anchoring in the harbor.
